| Liquor is a
liquid intoxicant, deriving its intoxicating potency
from ethyl alcohol in it. Liquor is broadly divided
into three broad categories, viz. Indian Made
Foreign Liquor (IMFL), Beer and Country Liquor
of which Country Liquor is one of them.
Country Liquor has generally in the range of 25%
of alcohol and available in glass bottles only.
According to New Excise Policy 2007-08, Government
has allowed participation of private sector to
the extent of 60% of Country Liquor being lifted. |
